Description

The Philodendron birkin is a statement houseplant, with its gorgeous white and yellow variegation. A clump growing plant, the Philodendron birkin has zebra-like striped leaves, which can on occasion have bigger blocks of green or white. It is a highly sought after houseplant to add to collections and is a great choice for those smaller spaces.

The Philodendron birkin loves…

  • Bright indirect light - do not place in direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves and make it grow leggy

  • The top inch of its soil to dry between waterings

  • A bit of humidity, so giving it a regular mist will go down well

  • Being fed every 6-8 weeks during spring and summer

Toxic to pets or humans if ingested

Tip

  • If you can, use captured rainwater to water your plants. Some houseplants can be sensitive to the chlorine found in tap water.
