Description

Native to the rainforests of southern Mexico and Guatemala, the Chamaedorea elegans, or Parlour Palm, is a very popular houseplant. With its beautiful fanned leaves, the Parlour Palm brings and instant tropical feel to any space, reminding you of your holidays and adventures in the sun. The Parlour Palm is immensely elegant, easy to care for and has excellent air purifying properties.

The Chlorophytum comosum loves…

  • Bright indirect light where it will thrive and may even flower - it can tolerate shadier spaces though

  • The top inch of its soil to dry between waterings - she can be thirsty during the summer, so checking the soil with your finger as you walk past will ensure she’s always happy

  • Normal room humidity

  • Being fed once a month during spring and summer

Non-toxic to pets or humans if ingested

Tip

  • If you can, use captured rainwater to water your plants. Some houseplants can be sensitive to the chlorine found in tap water.
